The Velvet Hounds are a powerhouse blues rock band that formed in the heart of Memphis, Tennessee. The band consists of childhood friends Jack Dawson (lead vocals and guitar), Marcus « Muddy » Waters (bass), and Jenny Kane (drums). Their sound is deeply rooted in the rich musical heritage of the South, blending traditional blues with modern rock elements. Inspired by the likes of B.B. King, The Black Keys, and Led Zeppelin, The Velvet Hounds have made a name for themselves with their raw energy, emotional depth, and no-frills approach to music. Their live performances are electrifying, with Jack’s gritty guitar solos and soulful vocals captivating audiences wherever they go. Their debut album, « Crossroads, » was recorded in a legendary Memphis studio and captures the essence of their live shows.
